Combining still photography and video footage can be a great way to capture the full story of your special day. Hybrid photo/video coverage allows the photographer to capture moments that may have otherwise been lost, like the reactions of your family and friends as you say “I do” or the memorable speeches and toasts made at the reception. It also allows you to relive the day through photos and video.

When selecting a photography package for your wedding, make sure to enquire about hybrid coverage. It’s an excellent way to create a unique and beautiful record of your special day that will be cherished for years. 

The main advantage of hybrid photography is that it's an efficient and cost-effective way of capturing both photographs and video. By booking a hybrid photographer, you get the convenience of having both services under one roof, and you don't have to keep shopping around for two different providers. It's also great for those on smaller budgets who still want quality photos and videos. 

However, hybrid photography does not provide quite the same level of coverage as all-day, dedicated photography or videography. If you need to capture every moment throughout the day, invest in dedicated video coverage as well as a dedicated photographer because it will give you a more thorough record of the event.

Advantages of hybrid photography:

Disadvantages of Hybrid photography:

  • Hybrid coverage doesn't generate hours of footage, but short clips throughout the day, this means that you get snippets of the vows, speeches and first dance, but you also get photos of those key moments. We can also include some audio of the speeches as well as background music.

Traditionally, photographers would charge a fixed price to cover a set number of hours. Here at OneMo Photography, we like to do things differently and give you the flexibility to build the perfect package.

We offer a range of hybrid photo-video options to choose from. These range from full-day to half-day and hourly coverage, allowing you to mix and match to build a perfect package for your needs. Our hybrid photo-video combination is ideal for capturing every moment of your special day without breaking the bank.

If you want to add hybrid coverage to your photography package, add £25 per hour to your photo package for the duration you want to be covered. See some examples below:

Ten hours of photography for £1160, add hybrid photo video to your package for the duration: Total = £1410

Five hours of photography for £580, add hybrid photo video to your package for the duration: Total = £705

You have the flexibility to build your package; you may want ten hours of photography and five hours of hybrid video, with the photography starting with the bride’s preparations and the hybrid video beginning with the ceremony. The choice is yours.
